Following the success of recent BPIF training courses, we were approached with the idea of a council forming to look at trends and ideas within the print industry and connect people at apprentice level. We were honoured to be asked whether our print apprentice Liam Walton could be part of the initiative and look forward to hearing some of the results throughout 2016.

The idea being the BPIF Apprentice Council ensures future apprentices can shape the delivery of their training programmes to the modern day print world. It will also provide a platform for council members to express their views on the industry and make clear their needs. This will all feed into the BPIF’s schools programme that aims to attract more school leavers into the printing industry.

Good Luck Liam and the rest of the Apprentice Council.
