We have recently worked as part of a team alongside the designers, to create a short run direct mail piece to capture the imagination of the businesses in and around Chester. Next summer, Chester Cathedral host ARK – a contemporary sculpture exhibition of international importance. It will take up residence at Chester Cathedral between 15 July and 15 October 2017.
In order to gain sponsorship for the event, the cathedral wanted to produce a striking mail piece capable of capturing the imagination of the event through creativity. By using a range of GF Smith stocks – we were able to replicate the Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze package sponsorship levels; through using Peregrina Majestic Moonlight, Peregrina Majestic Real Gold, Real Silver and Peregrina Majestic Casino Gold respectively. These elements were then printed digitally in full colour, incorporating a digital white ink.
The inner elements were then encased within a crucifix style folder on Colorplan Ebony 270gsm, which was foiled using gold and clear foil and embossed to give a truly striking mail piece.
